British Teenage Girl in Moped Accident Abroad

A girl has been injured in a road traffic accident whilst on holiday, the day before her 19th birthday.

A British teenager is seriously ill in a Greek hospital after falling off a moped whilst on holiday in Crete.  The girl, who fell off the back of the vehicle when it crashed, was not wearing a helmet and had been drinking.

Unfortunately the insurance company say that her policy is invalid because she had been drinking before getting on the moped. The teenager's family now face paying up to £20,000 to bring her home.

If you have been involved in a road traffic accident within the EU that wasn't your fault then it is likely we would be able to pursue a claim for compensation in the UK for your injuries.  You may also be able to claim loss of enjoyment of holiday and loss of earnings.

If you have suffered an accident, loss or injury whilst on holiday call our solicitors on 0800 328 5313 to discuss if you could claim for compensation.
