British women killed in road traffic accident abroad

An accident in Spain leaves three dead and another seriously injured

The incident occurred on 3rd March near Cabra in the south of Spain.

The three women are understood to have been travelling in a Ford Fiesta which they had rented from Malaga airport.  The road traffic accident occured when their car hit a BMW being driven by a 34-year old Spanish man in a head on collision.  The vehicle then had a further collision with a Volvo.

Following the accident the BMW driver is now believed to be in the intensive care unit of a local hospital.

The driver of the Volvo did not suffer any serious injuries.
